Sermon Notes… VISIONS, DREAMS, AND PURPOSES “I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved. MAIN THOUGHT: We can accomplish God’s purpose as we receive God’s vision, release our creative capacity to dream, discover our purpose and act upon these things. WE BEGIN TO RELEASE THE POTENTIAL OF GOD WHEN WE RECEIVE JESUS! “…Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” John 3:3, KJV. “Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.” 1 Peter 1:23, KJV. Habakkuk said I’m gonna get up on the tower. I’m going to submit myself to God and begin to get a higher perspective. I’m going to listen to Him and be corrected as needed. I’m going to get out of my rebellion and chose God’s will. Only then could he hear from God. THE VISION OF OUR LIFE IS FORMED THROUGH THE WORD OF GOD “As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:” 1 Peter 2:2, KJV. “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
